 In between and during my university studies in California, I have lived abroad in China, Romania (as a Peace Corps Volunteer from 2002-04), Croatia, and Bosnia. Living in these diverse places and engaging in community development activities has informed my professional and personal pursuits.
I am also keenly interested in public history and retain strong ties to former colleagues, mentors, and friends in the museum world of Washington, DC.
