Nov29th  Gold Star Family Program AT the end of the Memphis reunion I was asked many times, " how you going to top this? ", This is one of the ways and we need your involvement to make it work. We are starting a NEW program for next reunion. Gold Star Families It has become apparent that family members of our KIA’s are wanting to know about the men there loved ones served with. I would like to invite these people to our next reunion as they are part of the E 2/5 family. What we need is a GOLD STAR coordinator, Someone to run a program of finding and organizing . Many of the people are writing in or posting, but for the most part it would entail you finding the family and sending out an invite. At the reunion you would be in charge of a program for all the Gold Star Facility’s. I of course will help you with this step by step so your not out there alone with this. I have a bunch of names and E mails to get you started. This might be a great opportunity for one of the wife’s to get more involved in E 2/5. There is no greater reward personally then seeing people that NEED to have a reunion like our guys, and knowing you had a part in getting them together. Reunion projects that don’t get volunteers are for the most part put to me to do. If we don’t get a volunteer for THIS ONE, I don’t have the time to put this together so I will not be done.
