WELCOME TO THIS NEW SITE.

My Dad was a Baptist Preacher. Born in 1904. He went to Wake Forest U in North Caroline.  I knew him for the first time in 1947.  I was born in October 1947.  My Mom was born in 1923 and married Dad in 1945. And she is now 85. My Dad died in 1966.   From the time of my birth to now, I have being in some form of ministry, and worked in the workplace as long as I have being in church ministry, that is called bi-vocational.

I have had as many jobs in the workplace as I have in the church place. But I have had only one wife. Now for 40 years I have being married to one lovely wife who I meet in Arlington Texas in Seminary in 1968 an married in 1969.  We have four adult children now, and they are doing well in their lives and jobs.

Keeping up with the latest technology has been a task that I greatly love trying. From those early church bulletins on those blue stencils and ink, ran on those old printers, to the window 2007 xp.  From those old cameras to the today's Kodak 7.0 digital has just being wonderful.  I know I will never keep up with the latest tools.

My life verse comes from Philippians 1:21 "FOR TO ME, TO LIVE IS CHRIST, AND TO DIE IS GAIN."

What should the church consciously be then? The church consciously (and my emphasis is very strongly on the word consciously) should be that which encourages its members in the true Christian life, in true spirituality . . . . It should encourage them in freedom in the present life from the bonds of sin, and in freedom in the present life from the results of the bonds of sin. It should encourage substantial healing in their separation from themselves and a substantial healing in their separation from their fellowman, especially fellow Christians (149).
