Collaboration among colleagues in various fields and professions to understand why some people have better immune systems against stress and disaster, learn how to inoculate people, and promote immune systems recover.

Research focus: understanding the consequences of shared trauma, beginning of caregivers who are clinical social workers in post- 9/11 New York and in Post-Katrina New Orleans. The goal is to develop testable models to guide research and treatment of post-disaster caregivers.
