For the past 25 years, the Yacht Clubs of Long Beach have supported The Children’s Clinic, Serving Children and Their Families (TCC) as they have implemented innovative programs and expanded services for low income children and their families in our community. With support of the contributions raised for the Annual Charity Regatta and associated events, this has truly become the community service event that the founding Yacht Club Commodores envisioned in 1986.
In 2009, TCC celebrated its 70th year providing 65,746 health care visits to 22,047 children and adults, an 11% increase over the previous year. We encourage you to visit their website at www.thechildrensclinic.org.
