MISSION Action against Impunity in Africa Inc (AIA) is a public charity organization recognized on 07/11/2002 as exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
AIA is a non-profit corporation organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code, and especially, for the purpose of defending human and civil rights secured by law, of providing legal assistance to victims of human and civil rights abuses, of promoting the knowledge of human and civil rights, and of helping incorporate human and civil rights laws into legal systems.
All donations made to AIA and to AIA projects are tax deductible.

| ACTION AGAINST IMPUNITY (AIA) IS CURRENTLY RAISING FUNDS FOR THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS:
1- COTE D'IVOIRE GENOCIDE AND CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY PROJECT  In two days only from the 27th to the 29th of March 2011, about 800 unarmed cocoa and coffee farmers of the Guere ethnic group were slaughtered, not sparing children and women. The genocide was executed to silence dissent and in anticipation of the "land reform" the country's new strongman advocated. The massacres were and are still repeated all over Cote d'Ivoire. The total count of the dead is in the thousands, of the wounded in the tens of thousands and of the displaced in the millions. What the victims want, beyond provision of food, water and shelter, is the defense of their rights to life, their rights of citizens to a political choice without fear of terror, their right to freedom. They want the perpetrators and executors to be brought before the court of law, hoping that these kinds of crimes will not happen again. To bring their case before national and international courts, they need all forms of legal assistance from any citizens or organizations in the world. These victims of gruesome human rights violations need direct legal assistance as well as money to pay lawyers and all types of defenders of their rights to life and decent life. 2- THE LEGAL AID WATCH (LAW) PROJECT
