Adnan Sicakoglu lives in Yalova (just outside of Istanbul) for nearly all his life and 14 years ago his life was changed with a news from his doctor saying he's a kidney stone. After an operation and lots of stressful months, he was back to normal but then after he had a kidney failuare when he when to do his compalsury military service in east turkey. Before finishing his military service he was excused and sent back home.

Adnan had a long way to sort his kidney problem ahead of him and thats where his journey started.

He was put through lots of test, medication and stress. thats where he was told that he will be doing homodialise for untill he finds a kidneydonner. He was doing homedialise for a very long time in a sterile room where he goes in and do it 5 times a day for about 30 mins to 45 mins untill where he got stomach infaction in april 2007 where he was nearly losing his life and staying in coma.he was given 45 units of blood and finally doctors managed to stop internal bleeding and after staying in hospital for ever three months he couldn't do homedialise anymore because of his condition and he was put through dialise machine 4.5 hours 3 times a day where his blood was suckedout from his body cleaned and pumped it back.

Doctors had not too much time and he needed a kidneydonner as soon as possible. He went to different part of turkey where he was registered in different hospitals and waited for a donner. meanwhile his sister willingly said how about my kidney and doctors put several tests on her and find that she was a good macth. After taking all tests for full check and find out she was compatiable for her brother adnan. He was very happy and all this time his future was right next to him not realising.

Doctors put adnan and his sister through a thousands of test over more then a year and to make sure everything was happily normal for the transplant. Prof.Dr. who will do the adnan's operation, is the same person who did adnan's wife nihan's kidney transplant 16 years ago. Likely her mother's kidney was a good macth and had her mothers kidney.  
Prof. Dr. Ismet Narin will decide exactly when to do the transplant in Istanbul Medicine Faculty.

During the charity night all the money that will be collected will go towards the cost of the surgery for adnan and his sister.
