MY VISUAL ARTS RESUME
EDUCATION

I studied Visual Arts through Europe and America, and worked at the studios of recognized Artists, as Nelson Sarabia, recognized Venezuelan painter, and, acclaimed Tony Lopez, recognized Cuban sculptor.

I received instruction in Florida, in the field of Art decoration, “Faux Finishing”, and furniture refinishing.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree, major in French Language

Italian language: Graduated at BHA School, Madrid, Spain (3 years)

I studied 2 years Spanish Literature with Gerardo Diego, renamed Spaniard writer at Instituto Beatriz Galindo of Madrid.

I speak, and write: English, French, Spanish, and Italian.



AUTHORESS

My first book was published last year, in Spanish Castilian. It is a compendium of narrative, poetry and essay. I participated at the Nov 2009 International Book Fair in Miami, Florida. My book is being translated now into English.

 

EXHIBITIONS

                  

2010 My art work has been selected for this year’s program by the Village of

                       Wellington. Art in Public Places, (six months loan) and can be seen at the lobby

                        of the   Village Park of that city.

My work has been selected as well, by the Boynton Beach Library Environmental Art Exhibit, that will took place from February to May 2010. My painting “Diving Angel”, under the motto “Keep water clean”.


2009 Armory Art Center, Hispanic Heritage (Palm Beach Post Spanish release of my Art work and picture)

Boynton Beach new Library inauguration organized by “Boynton Beach Art in Public Places” My art works were on a six months loan basis.

Palm Beach International Airport, “Palm Beach Art in Public Places”, my painting: Palm Beach Golf´s Paradise.

2006 Lake Park Library under the motto “Growing through Art’ emphasizing the uplifting and healing potential of Art”, as well as my High School art works.

VISUAL ARTS TEACHING EXPERIENCE

                        2007-10 Art Adjunct Faculty at Palm Beach State College.

                        School District of Palm Beach County, classes at the Adult Education

                        Program of “Oil painting”, “Painting with Acrylic”, “Furniture Decorative Painting”,

                        and “Decorative Painting on Furniture”.

                        Art classes for Adults and Youth, at the Greenacres City.

                        Tutoring painting and sculpture for adults and youth

                         2005-2006: Art teacher at Coastal High and Middle School, Lake Park, Fl

                         2003-2006 Visual Art Tutor. Freelance oil painting portraits from pictures, sculpture

                         and Faux finishing techniques.

1999-2002 Visual Art Tutor. This year I had a commission to create a piece of sculpture related to Nature. That is how “Leprechaun John” was born. I wrote a little story about him and his “magical powers”, that was printed in a card. I made a production of 200 pieces.

The 5th Annual Susan P. Bradford Art In Public Places Program will showcase 24 art pieces from different artists. Wellington would like to thank all of the artists who contributed their work to this program. We encourage everyone to take the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful pieces currently on display.
The artists will be recognized at a “meet and greet” on March 10th at 5:30 p.m. at the Wellington Community Center, just prior to the Wellington Art Society meeting at 6:30 p.m. This viewing is open to the public and all are invited to meet the talented artists showcased in this year’s program.
