I grew up in Pinehurst, NC with my parents, two brothers, and sister. I began my teaching career in Moore County where both of my parents taught for over 30 years. In 2001, my husband and I moved to Raleigh and I began my service with Wake County Schools.
I am the proud wife of Craig Chapman, Vice-President and Branch Manager of MI Financial in Raleigh and the proud mother of Adam, a rising first grader at SCES!
I am a teacher that works diligently to identify and teach to each child's specific learning style. I believe that all children can and will learn when immersed in an active, hands-on learning environment.
I am also a firm believer in a partnership between the student, parents, and teacher. Students in my class will become true stakeholders in their learning. Third grade is a year of many transitions; your child will learn many new curriculum topics and will be challenged to work more independently. By working together, each child will be provided with the tools they need to have a fabulous third grade year!
