Hello! My name is Tara Shearer. I have been teaching at Chapel Hill Academy for nine years! I studied to become a teacher at Rowan University. There I received degrees in the area of Teacher of the Handicapped and Teacher of Reading. I am currently taking graduate classes at Rutgers University to become a Reading Specialist. I have two dogs and a cat and love them all very much. I added another dog to my extended family, a new pug named Toots that I gave to my parents as a gift. We also now have a kitten too! She was a stray we found!
