Ministry: Audio of Chad's Sermons

Q. What is your timeline?

A. We have no official launch date. Unofficially, our goal is be in Spain somewhere between December 2009 and June 2010. WorldVenture requires that we be at 100% funding before we launch.

Q. Do you guys speak Spanish?

A. No, but we are willing and ready to learn!

Q. How much support do you need to raise?

A. Our goal is 75-100 individual financial partnerships and 5-10 church partnerships.

Q. When should we start supporting financially?

A. As soon as possible. The money we raise now will compile to meet our initial travel, housing, and miscellaneous costs on the field.

Q. What is your sending church?

A. Our sending church is Community Bible Church in Irving, Texas. Chad served as their youth pastor for a little over three years.

Q. Why did you choose WorldVenture?

A. Some of the major reasons were their pledge to quality member care, their vision for excellence in ministry, and their steadfast commitment to advancing the gospel through parternship with local churches.

Q. Why Spain?

A. We believe that guidance comes from the Holy Spirit through multiple factors: needs, experiences, and advice from trusted friends and mentors. All three came together to point us towards Spain. First, we were burdened by the low evangelical Christian percentage in Spain. Operation World estimates figures at around .4%. That is a little over 175,000 evangelicals for a population of 43,000,000. In addition, Spanish pastors are often overworked and lack training. Second, God providentially guided our steps through various experiences. One example is that we crossed paths in 2006 with two wonderful missionaries from WordVenture, Jon and Kathy Haley. Their vibrant vision for leadership development captured our attention. Third and finally, the advice of trusted friends, family, and mentors has been a resounding "Go for it!"
