Marcus and I met in November 2002 through a mutual friend.  We dated for almost five years before he decided one day to return to the military.  At the time of his decision (the end of August) we had no real intentions of getting married.  Driving along the road one day, he basically said, I think we should get married, and I said okay.  :o)  We were married by a Justice of the Peace, with intentions of having an actual wedding at some later date when the Army would allow it to happen, but after beginning the planning stages, I said, what the heck, we're already married... and decided to spend the money elsewhere.  :o)
