Auditions

Auditions are open to anyone and we always welcome new members.
 
To audition for one of our shows you need to be a member which costs £10 per year and payable when you audition. If you are successful we ask for a show subscription to help cover costs, such as rehearsal venues and costumes. Unfortunately, due to the size of theatres and stages we perform on, we have to limit the size of our casts.

Depending on the show, our audtion process usually involves singing, dancing and acting. There will be
set pieces to learn as well as additional audition material if you wish to try out for a principal role. You will audition for the show's director, choreographer and musical director.

We are pleased to announce that our Summer 2010 show will be Footloose, the musical based on the hit 1984 film of the same name
starring Kevin Bacon. Featuring songs such as Let's Hear it for the Boy, Holding out for a Hero and the title track, Footloose, it promises to be another exciting, high octane Centre Stage production. 
 
Auditions for Footloose will take place in January. If you would like to be emailed with details, please email the membership secretary on centrestagelondon@yahoo.co.uk. We will then contact you nearer the time with show and audtion details.
