Onam is the biggest festival of Keralam and is celebrated with immense joy and enthusiam all over the state. According to a popular legend, the festival is celebrated to welcome King Mahabali, whose spirit is said to visit Kerala at the time of Onam. Onam is also a harvest festival. The beautiful landscape of Keralam can be seen in its full radiance at this time of the Malayalam New Year. People on this day celebrate this festival by community get together, feasts, cultural performances, playing various interesting games and exchanging good wishes. Like every year this year also we are celebrating Onam @ CBi on 6th September, 2011.
