THE VIRTUALLY BEARABLE LIGHTNESS OF BAMBOO Aloha, straight from the NIkon D700 camera. Every single steak of light was turned into beautiful bokeh. It is so virtually true and the art of capturing light with a lens. Feels like you are walking into a forest of light and what usually remains hidden in the background becomes inviting with the the artistic look. It is way more difficult to shoot in to the light with a darker foreground than vice versa. The lens made the image more beautiful than the real almost messy walked trough path it is. I am kind of making a case for the lens and how it helps to create what was somewhat important with the image. When you shoot in any forest you most likely do not want to include the messy ground. You can of course shoot upwards, but then your lines are not straight and it doesn't create the feeling of being able to step into the image. The out of focus detail in this shot is just perfect enough to include the ground and make it beautiful through its bokeh from the few light beams. The image really shines in a life size copy, giving you a better feel than actually being in location, mostly due to the artistic and 3 dimensional image quality from the lens. Again the image feels inviting. The bokeh becomes the main design element of the image in a beautiful contrast with the in-focus subjects. This type of image is only possible on a Zeiss 85 mm 1.4 Planar as the location has been photographed many different times and none of the other brand lenses compare for me. Zeiss lenses have amazed me since I first a saw an image of the Berlin Brandenburg Gate at Photokina 1996 and a litle construction sign in the image was blown up with fullest detail and every word clearly readable. Ever since, when the need existed to enlarge images to life size or beyond my Zeiss lenses have not disappointed. The image has been ordered as life size prints for luxury spas, hotels and modern bamboo homes. Please no use without written permission. Contact: sunandfunhi@yahoo.com Karoline On Line
Pictures made during the pre-finals of the Miss Lellebel election 2007. Miss Karoline On Line WON the pre-finals. The photographer didn’t always use the flashlight, so some pictures are of less quality, sorry.
