Gospel of Christ v. gospel of man

Jesus says in John 10: "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." Through knowing, trusting and believing in Christ, we have a relationship with God that we were meant to have from before time began - we have a new identity in Christ and a new desire to live a cross-shaped life empowered by the Holy Spirit. We can live with a purpose, looking to someone and something much greater. But when we share this good news, are we sharing the Gospel of Christ, or a gospel of man? Likewise in the way we live, are we shaping Christ into our own image, or being shaped by the Holy Spirit into Christ's image?
