Scholarship Application Process--NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICANTS FOR 2012.

APPLICANTS THAT HAVE COMPLETED THE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS will be notified after April 28 if you have been selected for a personal interview. Interviews will be conducted May 19 with notification of awards shortly thereafter.

This website explains the process for applying for a tuition grant scholarship from College Club West. 
Deadline for all parts of application is March 17, 2012.

Please note that an applicant must meet the following criteria:

1. Applicant must be a woman 25 years of age or older.
2. Applicant must be enrolled in an educational program leading to a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree. Associate degree candidates are not eligible unless they are currently accepted into a bachelor's degree program.
3. Applicant must live in the Greater Cleveland area
4. No member of College Club West or her family is eligible for tuition grants.

This site is not secure and the financial parts of the application form must be
downloaded, printed, completed and submitted via U.S. mail.

Application process includes 3 parts:
  • Part 1--Two forms to be completed. 
  1. The online portion with your personal directory information and background. Online form
  2. Financial information and personal essay. This part must be downloaded, completed and mailed to address below. If you are unable to submit your 2011 tax return, it is permissible to submit your 2010 tax return and your 2011 W-2 forms along with an explanation of why this alternative is necessary.

  • Part 1--Two letters of recommendation. Form is downloaded should be downloaded from "Scholarship Application Form Documents" page.
We suggest that you seek recommendations from your professors, academic advisors, former teachers, employers, business associates and ministers, but not from any family members. The letters of recommendation must include the person's printed name, title, address and telephone number. Please note that recommendations must be returned directly to us from the person making the recommendation--not through you, the applicant.

  • Part 3--Official transcripts from all appropriate applicable of higher education. See application directions.
Please request your transcripts from all colleges and universities that you have attended at least 3 weeks prior to this deadline (on or before February 25.) Transcripts must be received directly from an educational institution (NOT a copy of the official copy Issued to a student).

 VERY IMPORTANT: PART OF THE APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED ONLINE. Online form. 

The completed application, both online portion and mailed financial information, all official grade transcripts, your 2011 income tax return and two letters of recommendations must be received by the committee by March 17, 2012.

It is the applicant's responsibility to make certain that all materials are received on time.
