Our Mission
The Committee is dedicated to promoting "Duty to
God" at each level of Boy Scouting, Girl Scouting, American Heritage Girls
and Camp Fire USA. We are affiliated with the National Catholic Committee on
Scouting (NCCS) – a religious advisory group to the Boy Scouts of America, and the
National Catholic Committee on Girl Scouts USA and Camp Fire USA (NCCGSCF) - which
is associated with the National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM),
and guided by the Diocese of Colorado Springs Office of Youth Ministry.
Our Vision
To enable every Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Brownie, Girl Scout,
American Heritage Girl and Camp Fire Girl (regardless of religious affiliation) to learn and know about their faith’s religious
programs and consider participating in such programs, and further to see such
programs and activities organized and conducted to enable such participation by
every Scouting organization and Catholic Scout in the Diocese of Colorado Springs.
Welcome to our Web Site!
We prepared this site to provide Scouts and their parents, Scout Leaders, religious emblems counselors and coordinators, unit chaplains and members of the diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting with a central point of information about Catholic Religious Emblems Programs for youth. (By use of the term "scouts", we refer generically to Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Brownies, Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls and Camp Fire Girls.)

their work on their own religious emblems. This year's retreat will be
held on October 8th, 2011 at St. Peter Catholic School in
Monument, CO starting at 8am. Catholic and Protestant (PRAY program)
