I received the B.Sc, M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Computer Science Department, University of Ioannina, in 2000, 2002 and 2006 respectively, under the supervision of A. Likas. Currently I am with Barcelona Media, as a postdoctoral researcher of the Image Processing Group, under the supervision of V. Caselles. My research interests are in the areas of Machine Learning and Computer Vision.

 VBS-1.3.1 This is the MATLAB code for training a Gaussian Mixture according to the method proposed in "Unsupervised Learning of Gaussian Mixtures Based on Variational Component Splitting".
