Our last meeting before the end of year celebration will be on May 20th (Thursday) to plan for the Ice Cream Social. 9:30am and 2:20pm in the 100 building media center.
Earth Day Celebration comes early for Student Council

The Student Council had an idea that they would
like to plant a tree for Earth Day 2010. Little did we
know that MEtroED Groundskeepers Jose and Roberto, and Superintendant
Mr. Hay would completly take this initative the next level!
The Student Council helped plant over 15 fruit trees in the front area of our campus with instruction from Jose R. on how to plant a tree properly. The students chipped in with plenty of sweat and backbones! We even got a chance to sample some tasty Pink Grapefruit.
Food Drive 2009!
Bring non-perishable food items to room 104 for the Second Harvest Food Bank during class hours. Winning class (most food items) wins a Pizza Party! AM and PM!

Recycle ME!
CCOC and MEtroED are going GREEN! Adding to our current recycling effort is a primary goal for the MetroED District Administration and they are asking the CCOC Student Council to help! During the next few weeks student council members will be comming up with suggestions to help MetroED/CCOC become a more efficient recycling school and center.
