The Steel Bridge Club at the City College of New York is a student organization whose goal is to design, fabricate, and build a steel bridge, which is entered into the regional and national ASCE/AISC Student Steel Bridge Competition.

The students carry the project through from conception and design to fabrication, erection, and testing. The project culminates in the production of a steel structure that meets client specifications (set each year by the ASCE) and optimizes performance and economy. The bridge is entirely student designed and fabrication costs are supplemented by independent sponsors in and around the New York City area.
