Seniors may submit their own portraits if they meet the following criteria:

1. Photos must be a 2”x3” vertical portrait. 

2. The portrait must be a head and shoulders shot only.  To ensure correct proportions, head size from chin to crown of head should measure 1½ inch.

3. The portrait may be color or black and white.  Portraits will appear in color this year, but you still may submit a black and white photo.  Glossy photos will reproduce better.

4. DIGITAL PHOTO FILES can be accepted.  Send the file on a CD or e-mail to braye@canon.K12.CO.US in JPEG or TIFF format at a minimum of 225 DPI.   You must accompany any digital file with a statement that says it is your photo to submit and is not copyrighted.  Digital photos can be submitted prior to the deadline days.

5. WE CANNOT ACCEPT photos you printed on your home printer.  They are not up to publishing standards and will not reproduce at an acceptable quality.

6. The deadline for acceptance of senior portraits is Wednesday, January 21 and Thursday 22, 2009.  HOWEVER, portraits will only be collected on these two days. (See exception below for early graduates.)  No early submissions will be accepted.  HOWEVER, digital photos may be submitted by e-mail prior to the deadline.  Portraits can be delivered to Mrs. Schwindt at the Activities Office from 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Jan. 21/22.

7. LATE FEE-any late submissions will be charged a $5.00 fee for recasting the yearbook page.  If the page your photo should appear on has already been finalized, the photo will not be accepted.

8. Early graduates may submit their photos to Mrs. Frederick when they hand in their check out card or may be submitted on the regular deadline days.
