As the name implies, the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award recognizes humanitarian volunteer work. There is no set discipline students must study in order to receive the award, but they must maintain their academic, voluntary and career performance to a satisfactory level.

National Scholarships are designed to recognize all-round excellence. They are awarded on the basis of outstanding academic performance to candidates who demonstrate ability for creative and innovative thought and a passion for the pursuit of learning. National Scholarships also recognize exceptional achievement in extracurricular activities such as the arts and athletics. A special emphasis is placed on a candidate's commitment to community service through ongoing contributions to school and community life.

OPP Youth Foundation Bursary The OPP Youth Foundation Bursary Fund is available to Ontario students under the age of 24 and cannot 'fund' their post-secondary education. Preference will be given to applicants who attended one of the OPP Summer Camps in Ontario. Candidates must seeking full-time or part-time admission to to a university, college or apprenticeship in Canada. The student's progress will be monitored as necessary to ensure they are following their learning and development plan.
