Paying for your post-secondary education can be stressful, but remember that it is an investment in your future - no different than the purchasing of a home or a car. Below you will find information and links to differnt scholarships, bursaries, and student loans that can assist you with the funding of your schooling.
 
OSAP is a program run by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, and funded by the provincial and federal governments. OSAP is a needs-based program. This means that it provides loans, grants, scholarships and bursaries based on a formula that compares your educational costs to expected contributions from your parents or your spouse (if applicable) and your own income and assets. OSAP provides eligible Ontario students with financial assistance to help pay for their tuition, books, mandatory fees, living costs and transportation.
 
Student Awards.ca is a convenient web site with links to hundreds of different scholarships and bursaries. You can sign up with the web site by answering a series of questions spanning 6 pages. It will likely take you about 10 to complete. The site uses the information you provided to create a list of scholarships and bursaries that you are eligible to apply for. You will still have to individually apply for each scholarship/award, but at least you have a convenient way to determine which ones are available to you.
 
Scholarships Canada is a web site similar to Student Awards.ca. It is more a of database that lists the many scholarships available to students, along with information on each scholarship. You will have sift through to find what applies to you and what doesn't.
 
CanLearn is a Canadian government web site that provides a variety of information on everything from RESPs to the National Student Loans Service Centre. It is another tool available to help you with your post-secondary plans.
