About

Robin copy.jpgIn my thirty-two years as an educator with Cornell Cooperative Extension, no two days have ever been the same. Changing to address emerging issues, needs and opportunities is really how our Extension system fulfills its mission and why it has endured for more than 100 years. Last year, we were addressing giant hogweed and other invasive species while this year questions about gas leasing have taken the lead for consumer questions. Interest in energy conservation and renewable energy sources have soared. Families are looking for ways to make ends meet and manage the stress that tough economic times create. There seems to be growing interest in home gardening, local foods and healthy eating.

The staff here at CCE Schuyler are committed to helping you find the information you need to make informed choices in your daily life. We have a wide variety of educational opportunities from helping you reduce energy costs to helping your teens stay safe while using the internet. We hope you'll find what you need by exploring this website or giving us a call.

We invite your comments and ideas as we strive to meet your educational needs. By being connected to a world class research university and the national land grant system, we are well positioned to help you address the challenges posed to by an ever changing world.

Sincerely,

Robin N. Travis
Executive Director
