 WELCOME TO THE CALGARY CHESS CLUB (CCC) FIDE TOURNAMENTS WEBSITE
The Calgary Chess Club (CCC) will organize four (4) FIDE tournaments in the spring and summer seasons.
We encourage FIDE-rated players to play in these events.
But, the tournaments are open to everyone from beginner to master.
All four tournaments will be held at the Calgary Chess Club (www.calgarychess.com)

Special Guest Player will recieve free entry to any of the four tournaments and eligible for cash prize.
We will follow rules outlined in the FIDE handbook. The format will either be 5 rounds (RR) or 7 rounds (Swiss).
According to recent FIDE Presidential Board meeting in Bursa, we can use G/90+30 seconds increment as our time control for all the events.
Byes are allowed for the swiss tournaments, but not the RR format.
All players must keep eligible scoresheet (and record every of their moves and their opponent's moves).
The organizer/tournament director will collect a copy of your scoresheet after the game.
