For 2009, we are sponsoring a new challenge ride -- the North Carolina State Park Challenge Ride. Beginning January 1, 2009, start visiting each of the thirty-four North Carolina State Parks and take a photo of your motorcycle with the State Park sign. For extra credit, you can also visit each of the four State Recreational Areas. Submit your postings to ccbmwridersclub@gmail.com within 30 days following your visits. Please be sure to indicate which park you visited and the date of your visit. All the details will be posted here. To help you find each of these locations, a KML file that you can view in either Google Maps or Google Earth [KML File Link and Google Maps Link] has been created. Now you have another, new excuse for riding (like you really needed one!). |
