The International City Challenge Ride involves riding around the world, so to speak. This ride challenge involves visiting “International Cities” in North and South Carolina – these are cities or towns that have an “international” sister town with the same name. North Carolina examples include Albemarle, Asheville, Durham, Eden, Havelock, and Wilmington. South Carolina examples include Conway, Florence, Georgetown, Marion, Westminster, and York. A good starting list of “International Cities” is available on the USRiderNews.com World Traveler web site. If you know of another “International City” that is not on their list, send it to ccbmwridersclub@gmail.com for approval (please identify the country in which the city can be found) and listing. New approved "International Cities" will be list on the CCBMW Riders Club web site. As proof of your visit, please provide a photo of your bike, and in the same picture, either the city limit sign or some other identifying landmark, such as the city hall, fire department, post office, or a road sign (make sure whatever you use clearly identifies the city). Submit your entry by sending an email to ccbmwridersclub@gmail.com within 30 days following the visit, and include your photo, the name of the city you visited, and the date of your visit. Progress updates for everyone will be posted here on the CCBMW Riders Club web page. USRiderNews is also offering a free patch (while supplies last) to riders who can document visiting at least six previously approved cities in their home state. Their list of pre-approved cities can be found at the USRiderNews.com World Traveler web site. To qualify for their patch, you must provide them with a photo of you and/or your bike, along with a copy of USRiderNews with either the city limit sign visible or some other identifying landmark, like the city hall, fire department, post office, or road sign.
