For 2009, we are currently sponsoring three challenge rides for our members -- the North Carolina County Courthouse Ride Challenge Ride, the International City Ride Challenge, and our latest challenge ride -- the North Carolina State Park Challenge Ride. The North Carolina County Courthouse Challenge Ride involves visiting as many of of the county courthouses in North Carolina's 100 counties as possible and taking a picture of your motorcycle with the county courthouse in the same picture. You can visit these county courthouse locations whenever you like, and in whatever order you like. The International City Challenge Ride involves riding around the world, so to speak. This ride challenge involves visiting “International Cities” in North and South Carolina – these are cities or towns that have an “international” sister town with the same name. The North Carolina State Park Challenge Ride involves visiting each of the thirty-four North Carolina State Parks and take a photo of your motorcycle with the State Park sign. For extra credit, you can also visit each of the four State Recreational Areas. More information about each of these challenge rides is available on their web pages.
