About Me

I have an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a post-masters certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy from Appalachian State University. I am currently working on becoming a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist.

Up until February 2012 I had been working at OASIS, Inc. in Boone, NC providing services to victims/survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. In February and March I traveled in Nicaragua before starting a new life in Raleigh, NC.

My passion is facilitating art, music and dance with individuals and groups of all ages. I am proud to be partnering with the Halle Center in my home town of Apex, NC to offer classes, camps, and workshops.

I am a contra dance and square dance caller. I love bringing people together with music and dance. Please see my dance calling page for more about upcoming gigs and booking me to call in your community. I call for weddings, community dances, special events, and school groups.

I also officiate weddings and commitment ceremonies. Check out the Weddings page for more information.

On this site you will find information about upcoming events, free music downloads, handouts from presentations and workshops you may have participated in, and more.

The goal of this website is to facilitate connection with others in an effort to build community online and in the area in which I live.

You are welcome to contact me for any reason.
