"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.  By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another (John 13.34-35 RSV)."

Prayer Before Logging Onto the Internet (by Fr. John T. Zuhlsdorf):
Almighty and eternal God, who created us in Thy image and bade us to seek after all that is good, true and beautiful, especially in the divine person of Thy only-begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, grant we beseech Thee that, through the intercession of St. Isidore, bishop and doctor, during our journeys through the Internet we will direct our hands and eyes only to that which is pleasing to Thee and treat with charity and patience all those souls whom we encounter. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Texts

Ordinary wisdom of ordinary people. Here's a list of all text messages I received, transcribed to the appropriate language (texting has its own language).

Advice

At our age, we've learned that our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

"No one wants advice — only corroboration" ~ John Steinbeck

Beauty

A fifty year-old lady asks God to give her fifty years more. God approves. So she gets a facelift-lipo-tummytuck. Tapos, nasagasaan! She asks God why. God replied: "Sorry hija, 'di kita nakilala.

People are like stained-glass windows, they sparkle and shine when the sun is out but when the darkness sets in, true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within.

Cell Phone

The Text Commandements:
(1) 'Wag pikon, (2) 'Wag dedma, (3) 'Wag low IQ, (4) 'Wag sent 2x, (5) 'Wag tagal reply, (6) 'Wag corny, (7) 'Wag kulit, (8) 'Wag away, (9) 'Wag non-sense, (10) 'Wag cell phone off.

Character

The measure of a mature person is not how well they prepare for everything to go right, but on how they stand up and move on after everything goes wrong.

A person's character is like a tea bag: he's not worth much until he's been through some hot water.

We have two eyes and just one tongue, which means we need to look twice and talk once; we have two ears and just one mouth, so we need to listen more than we talk. We have two hands and one stomach, so we need to work twice as much as we eat; we have brains, left and right, and one heart, so we can think twice and put God at the center.

Charity

God always repays caring acts. It may not be with money or goods, more often he repays happiness, health, friendship and love.

To those I have wronged, I ask forgiveness; to those I may have helped, I wished I did more. To those who helped me, I sincerely thank you.

What is charity?  It is silence when your words would hurt; it is patience when you're being hurt; it is deafness when scandal flows; it is thoughtfulness for another's woes; it is sharing whatever little we have; and it is being kind than being right most of the time.

Choice

God gave us two gifts: one is choice, the other, opportunity... the choice to do good and the opportunity to make it the best.

Contentment

Contentment is not the fulfilment of what you want; it is the realization of how much you already have. Count your blessings!

It is amazing to realize that living in simplicity gives true contentment.  We go as we come to this world; in the end nothing is ours to keep.  So let's share what we have: smiles, knowledge, hugs, good words, time, love...  Love more, hate less, ignore critics, value life, one love...

The secret of contentment is knowing how to enjoy what you have and to be able to lose all desire for things beyond your reach. Let's not be materialistic. Tama na 'yung good-looking tayo.

Today, before you think of saying any unkind word, think of someone who can't speak. Before you complain about the food you eat, think of someone who has nothing to eat. Before you complain about life, think of someone who went too early to heaven. And when you are tired and complaining about your job, think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had you job and when depressing thoughts seem to get you down, put a smile on your face and thank God you are alive and still around to love, to laugh, to give and to live. Life is a gift... live it well... share your blessings because you have been truly blessed.

Defeat

What is defeat? Nothing but education, nothing but the first step to something better.

Easter

Rejoice for today Christ is risen! Let every breath we take remind us He died so we may live, and every beat of our heart remind us of His love.

Education

We teach little by what we say; we teach more by what we do. But we teach most by who we are. Always stay a shining light to every life!

Enough

"You never know what is enough unless you know what is more than enough." ~William Blake

Experience

"One thorn of experience is worth a whole wilderness of warning." ~James R. Lowell

There are things we regret—words we wish had gone unsaid, starts that had bitter endings, chances we threw away, roads we should've never taken, signs we didn't see, hearts we hurt needlessly, and wounds we wish we could mend. But life gets that much harder, the past can't be rewritten but it can make you stronger. Be thankful for every change life has thrown you, for every break in your heart, for every scar. Some pages were turned, some bridges were burned, but at least you had some lessons learned.

What is the secret of success? Right decisions. How do you make right decisions? Experience. How do you get experience? Wrong decisions. Funny but true.

Failure

Falling down doesn't make you a failure but staying down does. Always remember that no one is perfect and when you fall so hard, you bounce higher.

Faith

Angels can fly not because of their wings, but because they have no burdens in their hearts. Leave everything to God and you'll fly like an angel!

Faith is like swimming. If you struggle, you sink; if you rest, you'll float. When you pray, don't beg or struggle; simply believe. That's how faith works.

No matter how our dreams may seem unreachable, dream them anyway. No matter how we have been hurt by the people we love, love them anyway. No matter how hard life is, live it anyway. No matter how our prayers seem unanswered, pray them anyway. God will make a way. Just believe his promise: "I will never fail you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13.5 RSV)."

Shelter yourself with God's love because with him by your side, you're sure to withstand life's strong winds and heavy rains.

When God leads you to the edge of a cliff, trust him fully and let go because only one of two things will happen: either he will catch you when you fall, or he will teach you how to fly.

Wishing you a cool morning; a warm noontime, and a golden sunset. And if clouds should cross your way, may God give you the faith to look beyond.

Worrying doesn't change anything. But trusting the Lord changes everything. When we put our cares in God's hands, He puts His peace in our hearts.

Your good heart shall tell you where to go; your sharp mind shall tell you how to get there; and your deep love for God shall guide you on your way.

Faithfulness

Your work for God will always count, whether small or big; for he marks well your faithfulness when you have given all.

Friendship

Everything you've done will become someone else's memory. A person might forget the exact words you said, but there's no way to make them forget the way you made them feel.

I'm happy; you know why? Because I'm blessed; you know why? Because God loves me; you know how? He sent a good person to me; you know who? Definitely it's you.

Sweet words are easy to say; nice things are easy to buy; good people are difficult to find. Life ends when you stop dreaming; hope ends when you stop believing; love ends when you stop crying; friendship ends when you stop sharing. To love without condition; to talk without intention; to give without reason; and to care without expectation.

When we share the laughter, there's twice the fun; when we share problems, there's half the pain. When we share tears, a rainbow follows the rain.

Fulfilment

Fulfilment doesn't only mean achieving our greatest hopes and dreams; it is also knowing that we make the lives of others worth living.

God

Always remember that God only makes happy endings. If it's not happy, then it's not yet the end. Live by love and hope. There is always something to look forward to.

Beautiful one-liners:
1. Give God what's right, not what's left.
2. A lot of kneeling will keep you in good standing.
3. He who kneels before God can stand before anyone.
4. In the sentence of life, the devil may be a comma, but never let him be the period.
5. Are you wrinkled with burden? Come to the church for a face-lift.
6. When praying, don't give God instructions, just report for duty.
7. We don't change God's message, his message changes us.

Even in the most fulfilled life, there's still an emptiness that only God can fill. Let him guide your every step and let him bless you all the way.

Every nice person is a glimpse of God. It is one of life's best blessings, a priceless gift that can never be bought, sold or forgotten, just like you!

"God does not love us because we are valuable. We are valuable because God loves us." ~Fulton John

God isn't far away. He is in every smile, in every thought that gives us hope, in every tear that waters our soul, and in every moment we feel alone.

God is the tower of strength, a place of refuge and a help that is readily to be found during times of distress.

God loves you a little, a little too much, a little too often, a little more everyday. Still, God loves you, and it won't change, not even a little.

God sees you just exactly as you are. He sees you perfectly and more truly that people can and he loves you more than you can ever imagine.

God's ways are far different from ours. In him, we learn that we must surrender to win, lose to gain, serve to reign, give to receive, scatter to reap, and die to live. In weakness, we are made strong; in humility, we are lifted up; and in emptiness, we are made full. Have a great life with the Lord!

In God's eyes love is always present. In God's heart forgiveness is always there. In God's embrace no one is ever alone.

It's by God's grace we can endure and persevere through any test for when our weakest moments come, God's strength is at its best.

The journey to God starts with one small step. After that, one step at a time. He doesn't expect you to run a mile, but he promises to give you the strength to run the distance.

On a road you saw a child, cold and shivering. You felt bad and asked God: Why do you allow this? Why don't you do something? God replied: "I did. I sent you!" Be a blessing!

Sunrise makes our mornings beautiful, but the words of God strengthen us and make our lives more meaningful.

To have God in our life does not mean sailing on a boat with no storms; rather it means having a boat that no storm could sink.

Grace

God will shower you graces more than you expect, simply because you never asked for them. The people around you wished them for you. I just did.

Happiness

The beauty of life does not depend on how happy you are, but on how happy others can be, because of you.

The happiest people don't have everything in life, they just make the best of everything God provides. Stay happy, God loves you.

Happiness is somewhere between too little and too much. May you have have just enough wealth to meet your needs: enough poverty to learn how to work hard, enough blessings to know that God loves you, enough problems so you don't forget him, enough happiness to keep you sweet, enough trials to keep you strong, enough hope to keep you happy, enough sorrow to keep you human. What you are is God's gift to you but what you make of yourself is your gift to God.

If the sun shines in your soul, does it matter if it rains outside? Happiness within always overlooks the sadness that any event may bring.

Thought for a lifetime: if you wait to be happy, you will wait forever. But if you start to be happy, you will be happy forever.

Hello

A warm hello does not come from the heart, it comes from the soul. It doesn't have to be told, it always shows; doesn't have to be given, it is felt.

Jesus

Always remember: life is never without a need, never without a problem, never without a difficulty, never without a hurtful moment; but a peaceful life is never without Jesus Christ.

He had no servants yet they called Him Master; no degrees yet they called Him Teacher; no medicine yet they called Him Healer; no army yet the kings feared Him. He won no military battles yet He conquered the world. He commited no crime yet they crucified Him, He was buried in a tomb yet He lives today. He suffered all, endured all out of love for you and me. He is Jesus, the lover of our soul!

The loveliest day comes when you wake up one morning and discover the truth that love still colors our world. How lovely to be loved by Jesus!

Man does not live because of his skills and capabilities, but because of the love and mercy of our Lord.

Never weakness that he can't feel; never a sickness that he can't heal; never a sorrow that he doesn't share. Moment by moment, you are under Jesus' care.

Without Jesus, days are moanday, tearsday, wasteday, thirstday, fightday, shatterday and sinday, so allow him to be with you everyday!

Kindness

One great form of wealth is kindness. It does not diminish no matter how much you give. It increases the more it is shared.

Lent

Lenten Diet:
1. Eat your words.
2. Swallow your pride.
3. Digest God's teachings.
4. Eliminate your ego.
5. For dessert, indulge in prayer.

Let this season of Lent remind us all that this life we have and the material possessions we hold are just being lent to us. We are all passing by. We are not immigrants here; we are all pilgrims on the road. We bring nothing when we die. But we can leave behind the love we have shared, the hope we have given and the goodness we have done. May we all have a meaningful Lenten season! Peace, joy, love.

Today and everyday, may you be reminded that God's love surpasses every cross you carry, every pain you endure, and every love you profess.

Life

All of us are driving our own cars in our own streets called life; and in every intersection, there is God. Don't forget to stop, look and listen for his signal.

Always say, "I am happy because God is with me. Where I am, there he is; what I do he sees; how I feel, he knows." Truly, life is wonderful.

Bear in mind we are part of the puzzle of someone else's life. We may never know where we fit, but others will fill the holes in their lives with pieces of us. So if we run out of reasons to live, remember someone else's life may never be complete without us in it.

A child on a farm sees a plane fly by overhead and dreams of a faraway place. A traveller on the plane sees the farm house and dreams of home. That's life! You never realize the value of a thing unless it moves away from you. So start enjoying whatever or whoever you have in your life!

Earthly life is not easy. That's why we draw strength from God. Today, get intimate with him and hear his voice say: "Relax, I'll take care of you."

Every experience brings out something good. Good times become good memories; bad times become good lessons. You never lose, you only gain from life. Enjoy life!

Has life been good? Let God hear your thank you. Has it been bad? Let him hear your I trust in you. Has it been unfair? Just have faith in him.

In life you will realize that the people you met have a purpose.  Some would put you to the test, some would use you, some would teach you, and some would bring out the better if not the best in you.  Some may even cause you pain and heartache but one must learn to move on.  So let go of the people who can't treat you right, and hold on to those who love you back and see your worth.  After all life is not about meeting people--it's touching people's lives.

I pray for a life that you deserve: a life as good as your heart, as bright as your smile and as wonderful as you are. Enjoy life and stay in God's grace.

Laugh at your mistakes but learn from them; joke over your troubles but gather strength from them; have fun with your difficulties but overcome them.

Life doesn't get easier get easier with age.  It only gets challenging.  Never be afraid.  Pursue your passion; live your dreams.  Love if you're in love; cry if you're hurt.  Just don't grow old but rather grow up.

Life has no rewinds and forwards. It unfolds itself at its own pace. So never miss a chance to live today and make a beautiful story for tomorrow.

Life is full of uncertainties. We'll never know when our time is up, so take many pictures, laugh much, take time to up at the stars, sing loudly, feel the cold wind, smile a lot, and love like you've never been hurt before, because every 60 seconds you spend is a minute of joy you'll never get back. Stay happy!

Life is like having a cup of coffee. You sit by the window, lift the cup and take a sip only to realize that somebody forgot to put the sugar. Too lazy to go for it, you somehow struggle through that sugarless cup. Until you discover undissolved sugar crystals sitting at the bottom. That's how life is; we sometimes forget to make an effort to value what is around us. Look around, maybe the sweetness you are looking for is closer than you think. Start your day right, flash a smile, have your coffee, and make it sweet.

Life is not about triumphs. It is too tiring that way. It is about learning and rising from the pitfalls. No room for regrets, only hope for what is to come.

Life is not easy. You have to be wrong to learn what is right, stumble to persevere, hurt to be stronger, fall to rise again, lose to try harder; but remember, you have God to pursue them all.

Life is only travelled once. Today's moment becomes tomorrow's memory. Enjoy every moment, good or bad, because the gift of life is life itself. Enjoy the day.

Life is pretty simple: when you're asking for apples and life hands you lemons, make lemonade; if you're on your way out, and it starts to rain, at least you won't have to water the plants anymore. It's a matter of seeing things in perspective; the benefits may not be immediate nor obvious, but you have to know this for sure: God will never give you anything you can't handle, nothing you can't triumph over. There will be problems, there will be struggles, but if they're not there, how'd you know how strong you are?

Life provides us with many options: go on or give up, hold on or let go, stay or leave, but it's comforting to know that God remains faithful whichever way we go.

Life's hardest lessons are also the most precious—they force you to face your own weaknesses and fears, and unleash hidden strengths you never knew you had.

The paradox of life: everybody wants to live a long life, but nobody wants to get old; everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die. And nobody seems to realize that in our life's journey no one has ever reached the finish line alive!

The secret of life is not just to live but to have something worthwhile to live for. We only live once, but if we live right, one lifetime is enough.

Some flowers grow best in the sun; others do well in shade. God plants us where we grow best and gives us loved ones to grow with. Enjoy life!

The storms of our lives prove the strength of our anchor. As we love, trust and depend on God, he will give us strength to do the impossible.

A thankful life is a response to seeing everything as a gift from God and realizing that your life belongs to God. God is the giver, you're the thanks giver.

You cannot discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore, because those only who risk can tell how far they can go.

Little Things

Enjoy the little things in life--family, friendship, loving, and being loved. For one day you may look back and discover that's all you need in life!

The finest part of a good person's life is the little unknown acts of kindness and love. We obtain happiness not because we do great things, but because we do small things with great love.

Miracles are mysterious, but not impossible to achieve. A miracle can be the small thing you do that makes a big difference in someone else's life.

Love

Be a person full of love and life; stay simple yet happy. When things go wrong, do not be blue, just pray and say, "I will get through." Always remember God loves you.

Hearts could only love for a while; feet could only walk some mile; clothes won't forever be in style; but God's love for you lasts until the end of time.

"If you love and get hurt, love more; if you love more and get hurt more, love even more; if you love even more and get hurt even more, love some more until it hurts no more." ~Shakespeare

Love is a heavenly drop spilling from the chalice of life to moderate its bitterness. Give love and spread it to all.

Ten ways to love people, true and biblical: (1) listen without interrupting (Prov 18); (2) speak without accusing (Jas 1.19); (3) give without sparing (Prov 21.26); (4) pray without ceasing (Col 1.9); (5) answer without arguing (Prov 17.1); (6) share without pretending (Eph 4.15); (7) enjoy without complaint (Phil 2.14); (8) trust without wavering (1 Cor 13.7); (9) forgive without punishing (Col 3.13); and (10) promise without forgetting (Prov 13.12).

Mercy

Even if we take a thousand steps away from God, we only have to turn around and take one step back toward Him because He follows us all the way.

Mistakes

Strong people make just as many mistakes as weak ones do.  But the difference is this: the strong ones admit their mistakes, laugh about them, and learn from them.

Morning

Do you know why God blessed you another morning to wake up? it's to forget the pains of yesterday, and see the chance the new day has brought; to dance and laugh again, to make up for the wrong things you've done, to see your friends, to love again, to make others feel happy and loved. You see, it's more than just another long day ahead. It's God's way of reminding you that he cares.

Each morning is a fine new creation—a fresh canvass on which you paint your day. Look upward for inspiration. Let the master artist guide your way.

Every morning is a fresh opportunity to find God's extraordinary love in the most ordinary place. Don't forget to thank God for another waking moment.

I wish you woke up this morning realizing what a wonderful person you are, and the world is blessed to have you as a part of it. Enjoy life!

May you rise each day with sunlight in your heart, success in your prayers, and that smile, always there in your eyes.

Morning is a special gift from God after a night of restful sleep. It is a new chance to do better and try again where we failed before.

Morning is a wonderful blessing. Either stormy or sunny, it stands for hope, giving us another start of what we call life.

Mornings are echoes of new beginnings. Seek to do what is right and believe you can do anything you put your heart into.

A plain and simple gift of Good morning wrapped with my prayer that God will truly bless your day and tied with a heartstring of My love and care.

Starting the day in an attitude of gratefulness leaves little room for complaints and much room for grace to flourish.

Start the day with a deep breath... Inhale all the love and goodness of God; exhale the tears, fears and all worries. Then... smile!

There is always one thing to be thankful for every morning, that is, being able to open our eyes and see the beauty of being alive under God's grace.

Night

A beautiful evening prayer: Lord, enlighten what is dark in me; strengthen what is weak in me; mend what is broken in me; bind what is bruised in me; heal what is sick in me; and revive whatever peace and love have died in me. Amen.

Once the moon winks at you tonight, I wish sweet dreams embrace you tight; I wish your day was quite all right; and now I bid you lovely good night; sleep tight.

Peace

Release the regrets of yesterday; refuse the fears of tomorrow; and receive the peace of today.

People

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered—forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives—be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies—succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you—be frank and honest anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight—build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous—be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow—do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough—give the world the best you've got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God—it was never between you and them anyway.

Positive

Count the garden by the flowers, never by the leaves that fall. Count your life with smiles and not the tears that roll. Count the blessings, not the failures, and God will bless you more.

Prayer

Ever wonder about the acronym ASAP? It means always say a prayer. God knows how stressful life is; he wants to ease our cares, and he'll respond to all our needs ASAP.

Five fingers of prayers:
1. Your thumb is nearer to you so pray for those who are closest to you;
2. Pointing finger, pray for those who you usually see everyday;
3. Tallest finger, pray for our leaders, they need God's guidance;
4. Ring finger, weakest finger, so pray for those who are sick, who are weak, who are in trouble, who are suffering and in pain;
5. Little finger, the smallest, to remind you to pray for yourself.

God answers prayers in three ways:
Yes, and gives you what you want; No, and gives you something better that what you want; and, Wait, and gives you the best but in his own good time.

God does not answer prayers at the snap of our fingers; but remember, God's delays are not God's denial. His timing is always perfect. Do not forget to thank him today.

God speaks to those who take time to listen, and he listens to those who take time to pray.

If God answers your prayer, he's increasing your faith; if he delays, he's increasing your patience. If he doesn't answer, he's preparing the best for you.

I pray for God's power to guide you, God's might to uphold you, God's wisdom to teach you, and God's eye to watch over you today and always.

Little keys can open big locks; simple words can express great thoughts. A sincere prayer everyday immeasurably brings us God's blessings.

May every hour of this day bring something special for you—a thought that makes you smile, a smile that warms your heart, and a heart that holds much happiness and love.

A morning meal will make us full, a morning hello would make us smile, but a morning prayer will make our day complete.

Never pray for an easier life; pray to be a stronger person! Never pray for tasks equal to your power but for power equal to your tasks.

Prayer is not an occassional impulse to which we respond when we are in trouble; prayer is a life attitude. It is our steering wheel, not our spare tire.

Prayer is not a spare tire we pull when we feel our life has gone flat. Prayer is a steering wheel that helps direct our life in the right path.

A relaxed mind, a peaceful soul, a joyful spirit, and a heart full of love. May you have all these today and everyday.

There's no failure when we pray--only success. There's no fear when we pray--only courage. There's no defeat in prayer--only victory!

When God gives as no for an answer, keep in mind that there's a much greater yes behind it. His no isn't a rejection, but a redirection.

Wish I might, wish I may, just make someone happy today; with words I say and songs I play; and warmest wishes sent your way; to God I pray, to Him I say, take good care of my friend today.

Regret

I should not regret any day of my life.  Good days give me happiness; bad days give me experiences.  Both are essential to life: happiness keeps me sweet, trials make me strong, sorrows keep me human, failures make me humble, success keeps me growing, and God keeps me going.

Never regret a day in your life. Good days give you happiness; bad days give you experiences; both are essential to life. Happiness keeps you sweet, trials keep you strong, sorrows keep you human, failures keep you humble, success keeps you glowing, but only God keeps you going.

"Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable" ~Sydney J. Harris

The worst regret we can have in life isn't for the wrong things we did, but for the right things we did not do.

Smile

Always smile! Our faces are the best billboards where the ads of life are seen. Life is not a problem to be solved, but a gift to be enjoyed.

A happy heart is a good medicine, and a positive mind works healing. In your busy schedule, don't forget to smile and have a good laugh because it adds color to your life.

Life maybe happy or lonely, cool or weird, overwhelming or miserable, or even full of pain, but whatever life may bring... smile! That's life!

A smile is a curve that set things straight and wipes your wrinkles away; I hope you will smile and recieve a lot.

Thankfulness

Things people should be thankful for:
1. The alarm that goes off early in the morning; it means you're still alive.
2. Weary and aching muscles at the end of the day; it means you're capable of working hard.
3. The clothes that fit a little too snug; it means you have enough to eat.
4. The mess to clean after a party; it means that you have friends that surround you.
5. The windows that need cleaning, gutters that need fixing; it means you have a home.
6. Finally, for too many text messages; it means you're being remembered.

Twist

I remember one moment when I was depressed. I looked for the moon, it wasn't there; I looked for the stars, they weren't there. I asked myself why?
Sus... umaga na pala!

Virtue

Faith makes all things possible; hope makes all things work; love makes all things easy. May you have an abundance of all three.

Hope is the bridge that connects us to where we want to go. Faith assures us that the bridge will hold. Love gives us the reason to cross it.

Life is too short; grudges are a waste of perfect happiness. Laugh when you can; apologize when you should and let go of what you can't change. Love deeply and give quickly. Take chances; give everything and have no regrets. Life is too short to be unhappy. You have to take the good with the bad. Smile when you're sad; love what you got and always forgive but never forget. Learn from your mistakes but never regret. People change and things go wrong; but always remember, life goes no.

Maintain balance in life: be strong but not rude; humble but not weak; kind but not timid; confident but not arrogant; humorous but not foolish.

Never stop doing good, until the better becomes best, for the fruit of tomorrow are in the seeds of today.  Worry not, for God is taking care of you.

People may be unkind, just be kind; they may cheat on you, just be honest. They may forget your deeds, just do good. In the end, it's between you and God, not you and them.

Weight

The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight, because by then your body and your fat have gotten to be really good friends. Did you ever notice, the Roman numeral for forty is XL?

Winning

The battle belongs to the persistent. The victory will go to the one who never quits. Winning doesn't start around you, it begins within you.

Words

"A thousand words will not leave so deep an impression as one deed." ~Henrik Ibsen
