The CBS was developed, field-tested, and revised over a period of fifteen years. It has been used successfully by hundreds of caregivers who provide services to persons with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, mental retardation. The CBS has been especially helpful for those who assist persons with a dual diagnosis (developmental disability and mental health diagnosis). The CBS is divided into Basic and Advanced modules.
