Undergraduate Student at the University of South Florida
Chelsea Russell is a senior majoring in Health Sciences at
the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. She has lived in St.
Augustine since she was 4 and graduated from St. Augustine High School
in 2008 with an AICE diploma. While in High school she was involved in many activities
including the Ja' Quettes dance team, St. Johns Country Center for the Arts, NHS, Beta club, Ladies of St. Augustine High, Sub- Juniors, Hispanic Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta and Golf and Track and Field team.
While at USF, Chelsea immediately became involved in the Honors
College Student Council, and previously served as the Vice President. Her first year she also served as a mayor for Building Council, and was involved with Students for Social justice. Last
year she was a member of the Dance Marathon Morale team, and hopes to
continue her involvement this year as well. In the Fall of 2009 she
became a member of a sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi. She has previously served on the Leaders Council as Vice President of Chapter Development, promoting sisterhood in all activities. Chelsea also has worked as a Student Assistant in the Honors College at the front desk.
After
graduation from USF Chelsea plans on attending graduate school for
Occupational Therapy.
