Super Tuesday Every Tuesday from 9:00-11:30PM the CSA hosts a study break called Super Tuesday in the CSA Student Center Lounge. It's a chance to spend time with other Catholics, take a break from work, and just have fun! There are fun games, delicious food, and great company. Stop by for a few minutes or stay the whole time! Spaghetti Suppers Several times a semester, the CSA hosts a
home-cooked spaghetti supper following the 5 p.m. Student Mass. This
semester, the first spaghetti supper will be on January 29 in DiGiovanni Hall (directly across from the lower church). In
addition to spaghetti and sauce, we serve garlic bread, salad, and the legendary CSA brownies! All undergraduates are welcome. Interfaith and Ecumenical Outreach Through interfaith and ecumenical events, the CSA seeks to foster dialogue and community-building between Harvard Catholics and members of other Christian fellowships and faith groups on campus. The CSA also participates in many of the events of the Harvard College Interfaith Council. Cathletics As the name implies, Cathletics is a group of Catholic athletes on campus. It is a relatively new group that is still developing, but so far we have held speaker events and prayed as a team. Junior Parents Weekend Each Spring during Junior Parents' Weekend, the CSA holds a reception for Juniors and their parents in the parish rectory. The time and date of this event will be announced soon. Speaker Events Speaker events are a chance to hear about the experiences, ideas and faith of interesting and inspiring individuals, both within and outside the Harvard community. Past speakers include Susan Conroy, who worked with Mother Teresa and wrote a book about her time in Calcutta; and Father Romanus, who lectured on the vocation to the intellectual life. |
