Catherine's Craft Fair is an annual grassroots fundraiser for the Aplastic Anemia Myelodysplasia International Foundation (AAMDSIF for not-so-short). The fair was started by then nine-year old Catherine in 2000 and AAMDSIF became the benefactor of the fair in 2001. AAMDSIF is a not-for-profit organization that provides information, support, and hope to those living with bone marrow failure diseases and their families. They also fund research grants and hold a yearly patient conference, as well as collecting statistical information on the diseases. The fair is a great day of fun featuring live music, games and prizes, craft activities for kids, handmade crafts for sale, food, and lots of fun!
