Name - Cat Myers Originally From - County Durham, attended University in Edinburgh, toured in Canada for 1 year & has now returned to Edinburgh.
Main instruments and Skills - Drum Kit, Percussion, beginners Guitar, recording & production.
Bands - Currently playing in Edinburgh based bands 'James Brown is Annie' and 'The Kyla Coopman Band'. Previously played with 'St.Judes Infirmary' and 'Little Green Machine' (pictured below).
Experience/qualifications and training -
She is has been employed to teach by MidLothian Council, a private Edinburgh school and most recently a music centre in Vancouver, Canada. Her students have a 100% pass rate for London trinity Rock School Graded exams. Has experience in teaching students with learning difficulties. She is fully disclosed (disclosure scotland). Catherine has completed an honours degree in 'Popular Music' and has written a drum tuition book. Before arriving in Edinburgh she completed a BTech National Diploma in Popular Music, grade 8 on the Drums, grade 5 in theory aswell as an AS level in Music Technology. Favorite bands - Foofighters, QOTSA, Brighteyes, Willie Mason, PJ Harvey, a variety of things really. Live at the Liquid Rooms, Edinburgh.
