Felix was really into the planets and stars around his 3rd birthday, and he requested a space-cake.

I painted various cookies with icing colored with food coloring to get the planet effects, and used M&Ms, a mint candy, and red vine whips for Saturn's rings.

Note Cassiopeia on the side of the cake. Felix had asked for constellations on his cake earlier in the week so I was happy to oblige him.
