You can use wildcard for your search. Then, CasualPConc can look for words that are likely to correspond to the Main search text.Simply run Concord with your search word/phrase and go to Menu -> Tool -> Concord -> Sub Text Keyword. The Keywords panel appears and list possible corresponding words based on keyness (log-likelihood). In this example, a wilecard search econom* yields the above list. 経済 is the most likely corresponding Japanese word to economy, economic, etc. (which indeed is the case). You can also select multiple keywords by holding the command key and search multiple keywords in the sub corpus. Create Cluster/Collocation list You can create a Cluster list(s) or Collocation list(s) of the search word. Simply click Cluster or Collocation button. If both Main and Sub search words are specified (searched), the lists are created for both. |
