Managing Results

Saving search result

You can save the result of Concord/Cluster/Collocation/Word Count in CasualConc format (SQLite database file). 

Go to Menu -> File -> Save Table.  To save the result on the right table in Cluster and Word Count, choose Save Right Table.



The saved file from each tool has the following file extension.

Concord: cddb
Cluster: cldb
Collocation/Cooccurrence: cndb
Word Count: wcdb


Open a saved CasualConc file

You can open the saved CasualConc file on the table.  In Cluster and Word Count, the saved result will appear on the left table. 



Export search result as a CSV file

Or export it as a CSV file. Go to Menu -> File -> Export Table.  To export the right table in Cluster and Word Count, choose Export Right Table.


When you Export Table, you can choose either CSV (Comma Separated Values) or Tab Delimited (both are saved as .csv) from File Format.


In Concord, only the kwic results and file paths will be exported by default.  If you want to include context words (L5 - R5), go to Preferences -> Concord and check Include context words (L5 - R5) in CSV output.





Search in Concord

You can search a Cluster/Collocation/Word Count result in Concord. 

First select a line you want to search on the table, and then right click (Control + click) the selected row.

If you have search results on the Concord table, you will see the following warning.  If you want to go ahead, click Yes.



For Cluster and Word Count, the cluster/word/n-gram on the selected row will be treated as the Search Word in Concord.

For Collocation, the search word in Collocation will be the Search Word in Concord and the word in the selected row will be treated as the Context Word.






Moving result to the other table

In Cluster and Word Count, you can move your search result from one table to the other. Go to Menu -> Misc and select Move List of the direction you want to move the result.



If you have results on the other table, you will see the following warning.  If you want to go ahead, click Yes.
