Keyword Grouping

Keyword Grouping is a feature to group words for repeated search.  For example, if you create a group for days of week, you don't need to type them every time you run a search.  Keyword Grouping only works with search word in Concord, Cluster, and Collocation/Cooccurrence.

First, you need to create a Keyword Grouping file.  The format is the same as Lemma file.  For example, if you want to create a group for days of week with a group name DoW, you write a line in the file:

DoW -> Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,Saturday,Sunday

The name of groups is case sensitive.  So this group cannot be used if you type Dow or DOW in search box.  For more information about formatting a Keyword Grouping file, check the Preference page.

Once you prepare a Keyword Grouping file, go to Preferences -> Lemma and check Grouped Keywords under Keyword Grouping

Now you can select the file you prepared.  Click Select Grouping File button to select the file.  You are ready to use the Keyword Grouping file.

In Concord, Cluster, and Collocation/Cooccurrence, you type the name of a group with @@.  So you type @@DoW to use the above group.

The example below searches "on @@DoW" in Concord.
