to the home and hearth of the Castlemere Cookies Medieval Dinner Club !  We are members of the Society for Creative Anachronism in the Shire of Castlemere, mundanely Jacksonville Florida, who love to cook and
eat medieval and renaissance food, swap recipes and meet for medieval cook-outs
and picnics. It's medieval - It's food- It's fun ! The purpose of our interest group is to expose interested members to the medieval cuisine and to discuss flavors, ingredients and recipes hoping to do away with prejudices such as "medieval food is yucky".
Our cook-outs are themed food parties where we get together creating our dinner from previously chosen recipes and sitting down to taste the fruits of our labor. |
