• I was born on July 30, 1970, and am the son of Kenny and Polly Pilgrim of Elberta, Alabama.  I have one sister, Adrienne.
  
• I grew up in Elberta, Alabama and graduated Foley High School, Class of 1988.
• I served in the USMC from 1989 - 1995 and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant (E-5) stationed at Camp Pendleton, California.  I also served in the first Gulf War in 1991.  My military stations have included Parris Island, Camp Lejeune, 29 Palms, Camp Pendleton, and Okinawa.  My military travels have taken me to Hawaii, Guam, Iwo Jima, Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and UAE.
• I managed a number of movie theatres from 1994 to 1997 including Edwards Cinemas in San Juan Capistrano and Laguna Niguel, California; Carmike Cinemas in Mobile, Alabama and Tifton, Georgia; and Cobb Theatres in Birmingham and Huntsville, Alabama.
• I have worked for automotive dealerships in Internet Sales (1998-2000) and as a Chief Technology Officer (2005-2006), having developed Internet departments from scratch, trained dealer group sales staffs to use customer relationship management tools, defined processes for dealerships, and provided counsel for advertising (both online and offline).
• I have worked for The Cobalt Group, an automotive digital marketing company, since 2000, and am currently the Regional Manager for the East Coast.  My experience has included managing a territory for about four years, serving as a national accounts manager for two years, and as a regional sales manager for the East coast sales team.
• I live just outside of Birmingham, Alabama in Alabaster; I have lived in the Birmingham area since 1996, with a couple of exceptions (Huntsville in 1997 and Columbia, TN in 2000-2001).  I grew up in Elberta, Alabama, until the age of 18, when I joined the Marine Corps.  I was stationed and lived in southern California for nearly 7 years during this time, except while deployed overseas.
• I have two children - Blake, age 11; and Hope, age 4.
• I am currently single, and I am in no hurry whatsoever to change this.

I will use this website for posting pictures of me and my kids, as well as keeping a daily journal (not diary detailed), providing a documentation of my professional career, and just posting various items that I find amusing, relevant, or meaningful.
