My name is Patrick Casey. I live in Bristol, England. I write books on the History of Rugby Union. To the right are details of books I have had published. To the left are books I am working on. I am the Club Historian for Clifton Rugby Football Club in Bristol and an active member of the Rugby History Society.
Current project is the Irish book Shoulder to Shoulder. In preparation is a book on the story of the first Welsh rugby match, title 1881, and the Rugby History Society to document all the international players to die in World War 1 for publicaton in time for its centenary.
I was born in Loughborough, Leicestershire, educated at Henry Mellish Grammar School in Nottingham, Heriot-Watt and Napier Universities in Edinburgh. BSc Computer Science, MSc Computer Aided Engineering. Chairman Junior Section Clifton RFC 2005-06. I constructed and maintain the Clifton RFC History web site. Level 1 RFU Coach. I previously worked on the rugby section of books about Bertram Fletcher Robinson and George Turnavine Budd before having my first book published in 2009.
I am interested in any ideas, help or collaboration for any books. |
