Not what it was

A Brief, and extremely partial history of justice.

This study was written week on week thought the turbulent years of 2008-2009. They follow week on week the events of that years and use them as examples in a philosophical study of the idea of justice, from Socrates to Deleuze.
The book is 400 pages long and has 70 essays.
Or as the back cover has it:

A series of short snappy essays showing up the assumptions from the history of thought itself that shapes the news and the very way it’s presented…along with historical precedents to what is happening now – A philosophical challenge laid down both to philosophy and to our understanding of the news.

Bringing unique takes on ancient, classical, historical and contemporary philosophical ideas from the history of thought, the author follows current events week by week in a totally new and startling light, a floodlight that illuminates what’s been going on and where nothing is safe from its dazzlingly critical gaze…
