Generation 1 Transformers Toys

The is a line of toys produced by the American toy company Hasbro. The Transformers toyline was originally created and produced by Japanese company Takara Tomy (Formerly Takara) and branded as Diaclone and Microman.

The "starlight scopes" developed during the early 1960's for use in Vietnam were the first Generation (Gen 1) of image intensifier devices.

Project 365 Toys - Generation 1 Quickswitch (Day 41 of 365)

This Transformers figure is Quickswitch from the Generation 1 line, released in 1988. It is complete and in excellent condition. Of the two "six changers" in the Generation 1 line, this one definitely got the worse end of the stick. The other, more popular six-changer, Sixshot (1987), was a huge toy and armed to the teeth in all modes.

Project 365 Toys - Generation 1 Wheeljack (Day 92 of 365)

This Transformers figure is Wheeljack, from the Generation 1 line, released in 1984. It is complete and in great condition. The paint on his die-cast metal portions is not chipped at all, as is common with this figure. It's missing some of the branding stickers though (which could be replaced with some Reprolabels, but I'm a bit of a purist).
