Energy-saving tips from our eco-committee:

• Carry out an 'energy walk' around your school to find out where power is left on or heat is being lost.
• Switch off when you leave the room, or on bright days use half the lights.
• Close open doors - turn heat down a little.
• Read your meters and display the graph for the school to see.
• Schools are one of the largest culprits in wasting energy.
• When we followed this advice we reduced our energy use by almost half.
