Caroline Ducrest is a performer of both contemporary and baroque dance. She followed her studies at the conservatoriums of dance in Annecy, La Rochelle and Avignon.
Since 2003 has given her the opportunity to she participates in productions with Christine Bayle, Ana Yepes, Cécile Roussat and Julien Lubek, Gudrun Skamletz. Her fascination with the physical aspect in general has lead her to integrate other genres such as fencing and martial arts into her work, in addition to various aerial techniques. She danced at numerous festivals in collaboration with such stage directors and conductors as Benjamin Lazar, Vincent Dumestre, Sir John Eliot Gardiner and Gabriel Garrido. Since 2007 Caroline Ducrest has performed both as solo dancer and choreographer in the multi-disciplinary production De Humanis Humoribus . |
