Remains ot the three banks of four head of stamps, fore ground is where the shaking tables were |
|
Over the years this site would have employed many of the people from the village of St Day and Carharrack.
The site changed hands during its life and at one time been the dressing floors for Parc and Chy mine.
The ore from Parc and Chy was transtorted here via a over head rope way
Left is where one of the towers that supported the rope way stood, this is also the site of the electric engine house that worked the rope way. |
