I'm a Ph.D. student at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and Ecole Centrale Paris (ECP) in a douple-degree program. At UFRJ, I work in the Database Group of the Computer Science and System Engineering Program of Graduate School and Resarch in Engineering (PESC/COPPE/UFRJ). At ECP, I work in the Applied Mathematics and Systems Group (MAS/ECP).

I obtained my B.Sc. in Computer Science with honors Cum Laude in 2006 at the Computer Science Department of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (DCC/UFRJ). After, I got my M.Sc. degree in Computer Science and System Engineering in 2008 at COPPE/UFRJ. 

Since 2006, I've been working and researching on Data Mining applied to business, developing solutions for finance (stock pricing), geographic information systems, and e-commerce.

My research interests focus mainly on Recommender Systems, Business Intelligence, Data Mining and Geographic Information Systems. I'm also interested in related Business subject such as Marketing, Finance and Management.
