Introduction to Carlmont's Chinese Program

Carlmont's Chinese Program began in Fall 2006 with less than 70 students.  Now the program has about 140 students. Here's a brief description of our course-offerings.

Our goal is to prepare students for the 21st century.  China is one of the major power house in today's world and beyond, knowing Chinese-Mandarin can be very advantageous in advancing one's career.  Communicating in a culturally-appropriate way is the focus of our program; technology is our tool in helping students reaching the goal of becoming bi-cultural and bilingual.

The information on this page is meant to provide you with an overview of our program.  Should you have specific questions, please feel free to contact me by email at mchiang@seq.org.
