Carlmont's Chinese Program began in Fall 2006 with less than 70 students. Now the program has about 140 students. Here's a brief description of our course-offerings. Our goal is to prepare students for the 21st century. China is one of the major power house in today's world and beyond, knowing Chinese-Mandarin can be very advantageous in advancing one's career. Communicating in a culturally-appropriate way is the focus of our program; technology is our tool in helping students reaching the goal of becoming bi-cultural and bilingual. The information on this page is meant to provide you with an overview of our program.
